Welcome to, Is This the Road We’re On? A Blog and Memoir site. My blogs are general autobiographical essays on a variety of topics; anything from lived experience and lessons learned to music, politics and opinion pieces. My memoir will post in chronological order (for the most part). I grew up a latch-key kid in the late 60s and 70s, and ended up a homeless, high school drop-out, who made his own way with A Little Help from My Friends. It’s a story about adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), addiction, sex, rock ‘n’ roll, friendship and resilience.
